Who We’re Looking For :

Lugano Junior Ballet welcomes advanced and pre-professional dancers aged 17 – 26 with strong classical technique and openness to contemporary work and creation.

We seek motivated young artists ready to work daily in a professional company environment, collaborating with international choreographers and teachers.

Audition Process

The selection process takes place in two stages:

1. Pre-selection (Video Audition)

All candidates must first submit a video audition for pre-selection.
Videos should include:
  •    Classical centre work or variation (barre optional)
  •    Contemporary solo or improvisation (minimum 1 minute)
  •    Optional: pas de deux (if available)

2. In-Person Audition

Short-listed dancers from the video pre-selection will be invited to an in-person audition in Lugano, consisting of company class and repertoire / workshop sessions with LJB artistic staff.

There is no audition fee.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but early submission is encouraged.
